Holistic health practitioner in East Devon

My name is Canda Diacono and I'm a qualified, NIMH registered Medical Herbalist practicing in Sidmouth and the surrounding area.

I work collaboratively with patients using in-depth, one-to-one consultations, looking beyond immediate symptoms to get to the root causes of the health issue. I examine their medical history, note medications being taken, and take details of dietary and lifestyle factors that may be contributing.

Using my knowledge of traditional plant medicine alongside a current medical understanding of disease processes and insights from scientific research, I create a bespoke treatment plan.  This typically includes herbal medicines, self-care practices, and realistic lifestyle and nutritional changes that enable patients to achieve better health and wellbeing.  

Herbal medicine can be safely integrated with pharmaceutical medications, and all of the herbs I prescribe are checked for potential herb/drug interactions.

While I can help with a range of issues, I have a special interest in gut health and digestive disorders, as well as immune disorders.

My practice room is in Sidmouth, East Devon, and I also offer online appointments.
